Cannabis remains illegal under federal law. The cultivation and sale of cannabis remains a federal crime under the Controlled Substances Act. Northern Michigan University does not promote or condone illegal possession, consumption, use, cultivation or sale of cannabis in any way. Instruction is not meant to encourage the breaking of any laws and/or foster any illegal activity.
